Campus Management Corp. Positioned in Latest Magic
Quadrant for Higher Education Administrative Suites
Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision
and Ability to Execute
(Boca Raton, FL - December 14, 2005) – Campus Management
Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems for more than 900 campuses worldwide, today announced it has
been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in its latest Magic Quadrant for
Higher Education Administrative Suites report (November 21, 2005)
as a Niche Player. Campus Management is the administrative system
of choice for 70 percent of the largest U.S.-based online and career
colleges offering post-secondary degrees. Niche players, Gartner states,
focus on a particular segment of the client base, as defined by characteristics
such as size, vertical or project complexity. Their ability to outperform
or innovate, per Gartner's definition, may be impacted by this narrow
focus.
Campus Management was evaluated in Gartner’s report based upon
its vision for the higher education marketplace and its ability to
execute based on key criteria, including product strategy, product
and services, marketing execution, and business model. To be included
in the prestigious Magic Quadrant, vendors also must have a customer
base that includes degree-granting public and private institutions,
a full application suite, including student information system, financials
and human resources, and demonstrate a vision that matches current
market needs.
Campus Management’s software solution, CampusVue Collegiate™,
is a highly integrated product suite designed to meet the needs of
traditional higher education institutions now facing fierce competition
and pressure to provide higher levels of service to a growing and
more diverse student population. As a recent entrant to the traditional
higher education marketplace, Campus Management is winning new customers,
and surpassing forecasts while it dominates the fast-growth proprietary
school segment. A significant milestone for the company is its recent
worldwide software licensing agreement with Empower Financials. Campus
Management also launched its CampusVantage™ financials and HR
solution in late October, which enables Campus Management’s
clients to a have a fully integrated system to unify recruiting and
admissions, student and Web-based services, advising, career placement,
and advancement and alumni relations. CampusVantage is available in
a stand-alone module or wholly integrated to the firm’s student
administrative system. The launch of CampusVantage and the recent
acquisition of advancement software maker, Donor2, completes Campus
Management’s suite for higher education.
