Campus Management, Ambassador College Bookstores announce
partnership
Innovative systems integration to synergize
Ambassador College's on-campus and online bookstore services with
Campus Management's ERP
(Boca Raton, FL- June 22, 2005) – Campus Management
Corporation and Ambassador College Bookstores announced today a technology
partnership that enables traditional and online schools, colleges
and universities to accelerate bookstore revenues, reduce administrative
time and expense, and enhance student persistency rates. The integration
leverages Ambassador’s state-of-the-art distribution facilities,
connecting its SourceOne supply chain system to Campus Management’s
Campus VueTM’s administrative suite for higher education.
By integrating in real time with the Campus PortalTM portal, available
with the Campus Vue solution, Ambassador’s SourceOne system
enables Campus Vue Users to expedite cash, credit and voucher transactions
for books and supplies. The integration can be configured to alert
admissions representatives should a student fail to register as expected.
“Any time a student has a change of address, enrolls in or
change a course or purchases books, our systems will be talking to
each other in real time,” stated Tim Gilbert, Vice President
of Marketing at Campus Management. “If a student fails to register
as expected for a given course, the school can choose to automatically
alert the student and even their advisor by e-mail, which helps boost
persistency.”
The partnership will focus on leveraging existing synergies between
Campus Management’s Campus Vue software and Ambassador’s
SourceOne application. Additionally, institution’s leveraging
Campus Management’s student portal can elect to display require
bookstore materials and trigger auto-fulfillment the instant the student
registers for each course. The entire portal and fulfillment system
features the institution’s graphical look and feel, making the
portal seamless to the student.
“This is a real time interface that will serve up the right
data at the right time“ states Gary Herald, President and CEO
of Ambassador. “One of the primary benefits for the school is
that student information is kept up to date across both systems, and
we can link course enrollment with bookstore orders, fulfilling them
at the time of registration to the student’s current address.
Transactions get posted instantly to the student ledger, so accounting
has an automated closed loop on cash or voucher transactions.
