Award recognizes innovative IT solutions for
the public sector that help to provide more cost-effective services
(Boca Raton, FL - May 13, 2005) Campus Management Corporation
has been awarded Microsoft Corporation’s “Best Innovation
in Higher Education” Award at the 2005 Microsoft Public Sector
Partner Innovation awards, in Amelia Island, Florida. Awards were
presented in conjunction with Microsoft’s 2005 US Public Sector
Partner Executive Summit. Also receiving awards were Hewlett Packard,
for Best Innovation in K-12 Education; Lockheed Martin, for Best Innovation
in Federal Government; and Harmony Information Systems, Inc. for Best

In commenting on the award, Scott B. Suhy, Worldwide General Manager
of Partner Strategy, Microsoft Public Sector said, “Campus Management
implemented a centralized information exchange service which connects
a campus-based ERP system with a third party Financial Aid service
provider. They were selected as winner in Higher Education as the
solution increased reliability and reduced errors; thereby improving
student services, ensuring enrollment eligibility. By providing a
faster Financial Aid Disbursement process, college and student cash
flows increased. This model dramatically reduces costs for college
financial aid processing.”
Award honorees were recognized for their innovative IT initiatives
that help public sector organizations more effectively perform their
missions or provide cost-effective citizen services. A team of Microsoft
research partners, including The Center for Digital Education, Onvia
