Southwestern Adventist University, Campus Management
to Create Campus of Excellence
New Campus of Excellence program enables SWAU
and Campus Management to collaborate and set benchmark on ERP performance
(Boca Raton, FL - March 25, 2005) Campus Management Corporation,
a leading developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
for higher education, announced a unique agreement with Southwestern
Adventist University (SWAU), establishing the 112-year old, faith-based
university as its first Campus of Excellence Program institution.
The Boca Raton, FL-based ERP software company’s Campus of
Excellence Program calls for a multi-year strategic collaboration
between Campus Management and SWAU. The two organizations will work
together to implement and establish standardized ‘best practices’
in the university’s recruiting, enrollment and financial aid
processing, using Campus Management’s CampusVue Collegiate ™
administrative software system.
SWAU’s new CampusVue Collegiate™ ERP system from Campus
Management went live April 13, 2005. Now, the specific operational
and administrative efficiencies achieved using the new system will
be measured against key performance indicators SWAU managed using
their older system. Additionally, student satisfaction levels with
registration and related student services will be evaluated and tracked
over time.
“Growing our enrollment and serving students with the latest
technology are two leading goals for us,” stated Charles Lewis,
SWAU’s Information Technology Services Director. “Our
relationship with Campus Management is helping us leverage newer technology
and adopt new capabilities, typically available only to larger universities.
For example, we will be able to identify where additional user training
may be needed, or how Campus Management’s development team might
continue to evolve the technology and applications within the CampusVue
Collegiate system.”
“The Campus of Excellence Program creates a special relationship
between our company and Southwestern Adventist University, so we can
truly partner and transform one another for the better,” stated
Mahendran Jawaharlal, Chief Operating Officer at Campus Management.
“By working in close concert with SWAU, we are taking aim at
the most critical operational goals a university can set for itself.
We can more clearly prescribe the ‘best practices’ that
will enable SWAU, and universities like it, to achieve the greatest
possible outcomes.”
